To uncover the needs and motivations of your target group I use various methods.
Ethnographic fieldwork
Ethnographic research - observations as well as interviews – is conducted in the natural context of your target group. You will learn to understand their perspectives and how your product or service fits into people's lives.
In-depth interviews
In-depth interviews will provide you with rich insights of people's mental models, their feelings, motivations and behaviors and what really matters to them – you will get both explicit and implicit insights.
Diary studies
Diary studies are ideal when you want to understand people's behavior and their lives over a longer period of time. By using mobile-based diary apps people post photos and text entries right on the spot.
Co-creation workshops
Co-creation workshops foster behavior and creativity as opposed to focus groups where people only share their opinions. By this you will ensure that you get real insights into people's behavior and mental models.
